Quercus polymorpha x alba | Central Valley

Like all oaks, Monterey Oak (Q. polymorpha) will happily hybidize. At the origin nursery, the tree shown here, and in the following two images, were all marked as Q. polymorpha, though inspection of the leaves suggested paternity from another oak species, which at that point was indeterminate. This particular example is quite nicely upright and pyramidal in growth habit, and will likely grow into a very nicely structured mature oak.
